• As soon as Claude reports on someone suddenly appearing in the confines of the garden, his interest is peeked. He'll demand that you are brought to him and eagerly await your arrival. You on the other hand, are positively terrified at the prospect of finding yourself in an unknown location with no memories of getting there only to come face to face with the most accurate cosplay you have ever laid eyes upon. However, you really don't feel like asking the probably-cosplayer anything at the look of distaste and annoyance he throws at you. • Ah, so this is how I die, you realize as you slowly grasp the situation you found yourself in. There was no way any human could be so fast, and when you observe the maybe-Claude a bit more there is just something off about him, causing you to grow more restless as he opens the door before you. Announcing your presence, light blue eyes fix themselves on your form as you try to cower away to no awail as definetly-Claude pushes you inside before promptly shutting the door. The gaze freezing you in place moves to the butler for a second who nods in response before staring at you again, even more intensely than before.
• Having no where to run you wring your hands before forcing yourself to stop, if you were correct, and everything was pointing to that, you were standing in front of the Alois Trancy, although he is older than he was in the anime. Before you can further analyze the situation you are interrupted by a cheerful voice, asking you how you got here. Taking a shaking breath you consider your options. Lying, being discovered, tortured and dying a terrible death. Or, telling the truth, not being believed, tortured and dying a gruesome death.
• Seeing as both cause a rather untimely passing on your part, you would love to stay quiet if only that wouldn't leave the same ending. So, with a shaky breath, you decide to tell the truth. At least you would die with a somewhat clean conscience, right?
• Instead, you don't die, but rather find yourself being offered a place to stay. Having nowhere else to go you can only agree, baffled at how easily they believed you. It might have been in your favor that you totally looked out of place and you are thankful for your clothes that aren't even designed in this dimension yet. Besides, the demon butler had already confirmed that you were no real danger, and so Alois was free to take an interest in you.
• Alois will be quick to take a liking to you, you are careful around him so it's fun to tease you and see the terror in your eyes but you also don't know any etiquette of that time, conversing somewhat casually with him. Upon your hesitance to wear corsets and skirts he'll be quick to offer you shirts and pants, since you aren't going to leave the manor any time soon who cares if it is deemed inappropriate.
• Once he grows to like you more he'll start to cling to your side, demanding that since he provides for you, you should at least listen to his wish and spend all your time with him. There is really no way to refuse, seeing as there is nothing else you could do.
• He'll still tease you, only to grow annoyed whenever you grow scared of him. Sure, he liked that before, but now he wants you to feel secure around him, at ease, just like he does with you. Thankfully he learnt a bit on how to handle his emotions with age and refrains from letting it out on you, opting on a scowl instead only to frighten you more, who is quite aware of what he is capable of. Alois might just let his intentions slip otherwise, hoping you catch on and finally relax in his presence. It'd be nice if you reciprocated his affections, too.

• Oh, Ciel is super suspicious of you. Wearing clothes he's never seen, having an accent he's never heard of, gesturing in ways he is not familiar with. Even more incredulous, the same goes for Sebastian, who had promptly taken you to his master after finding you near the mansion in a clearly confused and apprehensive state. You are a mystery to both, an unknown danger and, most importantly, interesting.
• Even though the earl doesn't believe your story at first, he welcomes you with a fake smile and offers you a room for the night. He notes how you flinch at his friendly attitude and how you muster him when he stands up, revealing how tall he is. Or rather, how much he has grown from what you are used to seeing behind a screen and on paper, not like you'd ever tell him that. You are also refraining from asking him his true name, something that'd make your situation a lot worse but a small part of you is curious.
• After you are taken to your place he'll consult with the butler on your credibility, only for Sebastian to chuckle when Ciel mutters how your story is a bit implausible. Yes, he is aware of the irony that he is discussing impossible things with a demon of all beings and sighs as he has to admit that taking that into consideration, your past is a lot more believable. Especially when his butler agrees with him on the matter and suggests that having someone from the future could be quite a valuable asset. Another chess piece, if you will.
• The following day you are called into his study again and the walk there is quite unnerving. As you follow the butler you can't help but be freaked out by how unnatural he seems and you know he is gauging your reaction because otherwise there would be no way for him to slip in his acting like that. So you do your best not to notice how his arms are just a bit too long or his legs bend a bit too weirdly. By the time you reach your destination you are so happy to be finally with another human again that you can't help but to relax for a bit, only to tense up again when you remember who is standing in front of you. You can't help but wonder if they counted on that, working on lowering your guard so you'd slip up.
• The ensuing weeks are stressful as you are questioned time and time again as you try to carefully maneuver through your more and more frequent meetings with the earl. There is only so much information you can reveal at once, you realize, otherwise you won't be of any use anymore and you are unsure if you could make a living when you can't even seem to adjust to common clothing. Still, you are careful to avoid the topic of, hey, Ciel, you are the protagonist of a manga I read and an anime I watched, all your suffering is made up for the entertainment of others. You'd be sure to be a head shorter if you ever did that. You shudder at the thought.
• However, you notice how Ciel has grown soft with you. Your accomondations are plentiful and his tone when talking to you is slightly gentle. Hell, you've even seen him smile a few times by now. Genuine ones, a bit awkward at first, sure, but bright and happy grins. It happens more often that he invites you to simply drink tea with him and talk, taking walks together, reading together, in other words, spending time together, just the two of you.
• What you don't know of is the order to protect you under any circumstances, the constant watchful eyes of his making sure you are safe and healthy and the lengths he goes to to make sure that knowledge of your presence never gets farther than the woods surrounding his mansion. There is no way for you to return home, he tells you, as he burns whatever possibility there was before.
